Daytime entertainment- when do I need music?
There are 4 parts to your daytime entertainment as I see it. These are explained below. Without something happening your day risks having a lull and losing momentum.
Ceremony
As your guests arrive for your Ceremony I will perform for around 30 minutes as they congregate, followed by music during your Ceremony from my extensive repertoire. Performance duration: 1h-1h30m
Drinks Reception
This period of your Wedding Day is immediately following your Ceremony. Typically during this period guests can be stood around talking as you have your wedding photographs taken. Music during this time is important to keep your guests entertained. Performance duration: 2 hours
Wedding Breakfast
Whilst your guests dine they will enjoy my piano playing, how often does anyone experience dining whilst a pianist plays? My music will not only create a lovely atmosphere but create a talking point between guests who may be sat together having never met before. It quite often becomes a game of ‘name that tune!’ as guests enjoy my music! Performance duration: 2 hours
Turnaround Time
This time is after your Wedding Breakfast and before your evening starts. Your guests will be asked to leave the room so staff can clean it and prepare it for the evening reception. During this period I can entertain your wedding guests on the Piano and keep that sense of occasion going until the evening reception starts. Performance duration: 1h30-2 hours
